Seasonal Service
Pool Opening Service
Start your season right.
After a long Canadian winter, your pool needs more than just pulling the cover off. We handle every step so your pool is clean, balanced, and swim-ready from day one.
What's included
Same checklist, same standard, no matter how busy the schedule is. We do not leave until your pool is running.
Remove and clean cover
We remove your winter cover, pump off standing water, clean it, and fold it for storage.
Inspect all equipment
Pump, filter, heater, and everything else checked for winter damage or worn parts.
Reconnect plumbing
Drain plugs reinstalled, plumbing lines reconnected, winterizing plugs removed. Everything checked for tight, leak-free connections.
Start filtration system
Pump primed, filter started, water flowing. We check for leaks, unusual sounds, and proper pressure.
Balance water chemistry
We test your water and adjust pH, alkalinity, chlorine, and calcium. Balanced water protects your pool and your swimmers.
Safety inspection
Walk-around before we leave: loose rails, damaged coping, tripping hazards. If something needs attention, you hear about it before we go.
When should you book?
Book in March or April if you can. The earlier you get on the schedule, the earlier your pool is ready. Opening before warm weather hits also stops algae from getting a head start under the cover.
We typically start opening pools in late April to early May, depending on the weather. Spots fill up fast, so booking early means you pick the date that works for you instead of taking whatever is left.
Not sure if it is time? A good rule of thumb: if daytime temperatures are consistently above 10 degrees Celsius, it is time to start thinking about your opening.
Why the opening matters
A sloppy opening means problems all summer.
Thorough Checklist
Same detailed checklist whether it is the first opening of the season or the last.
Same Person Every Time
The owner does the opening himself. He knows your pool from last season.
Issues Caught Early
Problems caught during the opening get fixed before they become mid-season emergencies.
